Middletown Springs Elementary School - Physical Education Teacher - Long Term Substitute- Middletown Springs Elementary School is seeking a .6 Physical Education teacher for grades PreK-6, to begin May 5, 2026, until June 18, 2026. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: Knowledge of best practices regarding physical education.Ability to create effective lessons, differentiate instruction, and assess student progress for the purpose of providing an effective program that addresses individual needs.Knowledge of effective student management protocols.Ability to create and maintain an effective and developmentally appropriate learning environment for students.Knowledge of assessments and use of data to inform instruction.Evidence of strong connection with students and families.Strong communication skills and time management.Experience in or knowledge of a Professional Learning Community and following district and school initiatives, policies, and procedures.Ongoing educational training.Licensed or eligible for Vermont Educators License.Job RequirementsAt least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.Bachelor degree preferred.Citizenship, residency or work visa requiredSalary Range: $45,690-$93,665Salary Range: $45,690-$93,665(Prorated per number of work days)
