Applicants must expect to work collaboratively with building leadership in supporting staff and students in the areas of social-emotional learning and behavioral challenges. This position is to support learning and behavior changes in students through the provision of training, consultation, and supervision. Expectations also include conducting functional behavioral assessments and the development of behavioral intervention planning, crisis intervention, continuous progress monitoring, and participation and leadership in multidisciplinary teaming; monitoring effectiveness of individual and group interventions based on data collected; in addition to being responsible for assigned students regarding planning, development, and evaluation of programs to meet identified behavioral and social/emotional needs.This position does not require teaching certification and the district will consider a wide range of BA level degrees in an applicable field.
