Litigation Attorney - Commercial & Insurance

Location: Houston, TX

Compensation: $140K-$220K salary discretionary bonus

Gpac is working with a well-established civil litigation firm that is seeking a Litigation Attorney - Commercial & Insurance with at least five years of experience to join its Houston office. The firm represents a wide range of clients in complex commercial disputes, insurance coverage matters, and general civil litigation.

As a Litigation Attorney - Commercial & Insurance, you will play a key role in managing sophisticated cases from inception through trial, while working closely with clients and colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes. Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation, from case assessment through trial and appeal
• Manage client communications, strategy development, and case progress
• Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
• Provide counsel on insurance coverage, defense, and risk management issues
• Collaborate with experienced partners and associates in a team-oriented environment
  
  

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
• Minimum five years of experience in commercial litigation and/or insurance law
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and efficiently
