Trade Floor Support Analyst – Manhattan, NY
Hours: 10am-6pm eastern
Duration: Full-Time
The role
Our client is looking for a Trade Floor Support Analyst to provide hands-on, on-site support for a fast-paced broker environment. This role has a strong focus on voice and telephony systems, alongside desktop and end-user support responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting trading floor technologies, including turret systems and enterprise voice platforms, and will be comfortable working in a time-sensitive environment where responsiveness and reliability are critical.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for trading floor users, covering both voice and desktop environments
- Support and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) in an operational capacity (moves, adds, changes, basic troubleshooting)
- Support and troubleshoot trading turret systems (e.g., IPC, Cloud9, BT, or similar)
- Manage telephony services including extensions, call routing, and basic provisioning
- Troubleshoot VoIP, telephony, and connectivity issues, coordinating with internal teams and external providers as needed
- Support trader workstations, including multi-monitor setups, peripherals, and trading applications
- Provide rapid response and resolution for issues impacting front-office users and trading activity
- Assist with desk setups, moves, and changes within the trading floor environment
- Maintain clear documentation of support activities and configurations
Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting trading floor or financial services environments
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and enterprise voice systems (operational support level)
- Experience with trading turret systems (IPC preferred; other platforms acceptable)
- Solid desktop support experience (Windows OS, hardware, peripherals, multi-monitor environments)
- Understanding of VoIP and telephony concepts
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, connectivity troubleshooting in a real-world environment)
Hours & Location
- This is an on-site role supporting a trading floor environment
- Standard hours are 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Flexibility is required to provide coverage for earlier shifts (6:00 AM – 5:00 PM) during team absences (e.g., vacation or leave)
