Job Summary:
A direct client is seeking an IT Support Specialist with experience in desktop and server troubleshooting, user account management, and hardware support. The ideal candidate will have a background in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, desktop application troubleshooting, and experience supporting both on-site and remote users.
Responsibilities:
- Answering the helpdesk line for phone calls
- Monitoring and replying to the helpdesk tasks in the inbox and escalating as needed
- Resolving basic tickets (ie remote VPN connection issues)
- Creating and managing distribution lists
- Basic active directory tasks such as updating attributes and user details
- Office 365 troubleshooting (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams issues)
- Basic MDM management of Intune enrollment on iPhones
- Desktop moves
- Pc imaging and profiling
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Active Directory management (user accounts, groups, and attributes).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting common desktop apps (Adobe, Microsoft 365) and web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
- Experience with hardware management and troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers, phones).
- Knowledge of remote access tools and VPN technologies (Big-Edge F5, RDP).
- Familiarity with phone system administration (Cisco, etc.).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills:
- Financial services/Banking industry experience STRONGLY preferred
- Experience with Zoom and Cisco Spark Kits for virtual collaboration and conference room setups.
- Familiarity with Apple iPhone troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Event Viewer for log analysis.
- Ability to troubleshoot and configure devices for remote access.
