POSITION: Custodian Full-Time (Union Position)
Glastonbury High School
Twelve-month position
Third Shift: 5:00 pm – 1:00 am
40 hours per week (possible overtime)
HOURLY WAGE: $30.64 per hour; Full benefits as provided in the
Custodial/Maintenance and General Service Employees’ Union
Agreement.
DUTIES: Provide a clean, safe and healthy school environment.
Complete tasks requested by administrators, Head Custodian,
and the Custodial Foreman.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2-years custodial or relevant cleaning work
experience and valid Connecticut driver’s license. Ability to and
maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-
workers and the general public. Ability to follow oral and written
instructions. Ability to understand and follow directions,
assignment routines and the methods, techniques and
materials used in a cleaning operation.
