What are the responsibilities and job description for the Second Shift Part-time Custodian position at Granby Board of Education?
Granby Public Schools is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual for second shift part-time custodian.
The custodian is responsible for the cleaning activities of the school building as assigned and immediate grounds, walkways, paths, exits, and entranceways. Primarily performs custodial work, but also performs minor maintenance tasks as required.
The Custodian works under the combined supervision of the Head Custodian, Lead Custodian, Facilities Manager, Facilities Director, and also partners and accepts leadership from the School Principal.
Hours for this position will be 4 hours per shift, Monday through Friday. Hours may be flexed between 5:00 - 9:00 pm and 6:00 - 10:00 pm depending on need. Entry rate of pay is $25.55/hr. For more information, see the UPSEU Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The successful candidate will be required to submit to a state and national criminal history check, as well as a DCF search.
