Position Summary:
The Controller will oversee all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing or distribution, capable of managing a small team and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounting and finance team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- CPA designation is a plus.

Salary : $140,000 - $155,000
