Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert application support for Oracle eBusiness Modules in Finance (AR, AP, GL, CM, FA, iExpense, iSupplier) and Projects (Costing, Billing, Accounting).
- Act as a customer advocate by troubleshooting issues, analyzing system performance, and delivering timely resolutions through problem-solving, data analysis, and application expertise.
- Collaborate with end-users to understand and accurately diagnose system problems, and communicate solutions clearly.
- Identify and differentiate customizations versus standard features to support system integrity and optimize configurations.
- Utilize diagnostics tools, SQL, PL/SQL, and other query-writing techniques to analyze data, troubleshoot errors, and generate ad-hoc reports to assess and resolve issues.
- Develop and implement data correction scripts to fix data inconsistencies and drive system stability.
- Lead conference room pilots (CRPs), user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of defect fixes to ensure system changes meet acceptance criteria with minimal disruption.
- Manage all change control procedures and adhere to SOX and other compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document issues, workarounds, and resolutions within incident management tools such as Helix, and facilitate communication with Oracle Support when necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date business and technical knowledge through ongoing learning, certifications, and industry best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, participate in project planning, and provide status updates to management.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or 5 years of industry experience supporting Oracle eBusiness modules.
- Minimum of 5-7 years supporting Oracle R12.2.10, with practical experience in Finance and Oracle Projects modules.
- Strong understanding of data flow processes between sub-ledgers and General Ledger.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL (3 years).
- Experience with Oracle Apex programming (3 years preferred).
- Familiarity with Oracle BI Publisher, Workflow, and related reporting/automation tools.
- Knowledge of EBS data architecture and module integration points.
- Prior experience in a support role that involves troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer-facing communication.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous teamwork experience in multi-developer environments, with familiarity using Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, inquisitiveness, and a proactive mindset.
- Customer success champion with excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
