This is an outstanding opportunity for associates with experience representing growth companies, venture capital funds, private equity investors, and public companies on sophisticated corporate transactions. The role offers significant client exposure, complex transactional work, and the opportunity to collaborate with highly regarded practitioners representing innovative companies across multiple industries.
✨ Responsibilities
- Advise emerging growth companies, venture capital funds, private equity firms, and public companies on a broad range of corporate transactions.
- Handle venture capital financings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and public securities offerings.
- Counsel clients on corporate governance matters and ongoing Securities Exchange Act compliance.
- Work directly with founders, executive teams, boards of directors, and investors on strategic legal matters.
- Draft, review and negotiate sophisticated corporate transaction documents.
- Collaborate across practice groups to deliver practical, business focused legal solutions throughout every stage of a company’s lifecycle.
✅ Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of corporate law firm experience.
- Experience with venture capital financings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, corporate governance, or public company compliance.
- Experience representing technology, life sciences, or other high growth companies is preferred.
- Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Active Massachusetts Bar membership.

💰 Compensation
$310,000 to $390,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus discretionary merit bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
