A nationally recognized AmLaw firm is seeking an Antitrust Associate to join its elite Antitrust Practice in Washington, D.C. This is an exceptional opportunity for an associate with significant antitrust merger experience to work on some of the largest, most complex, and high-profile merger investigations. The role offers substantial client exposure, meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to collaborate with a highly regarded team representing market-leading companies across a wide range of industries.
β¨ Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on complex antitrust merger investigations and regulatory matters
- Manage all aspects of Second Request compliance, including document review and production
- Lead teams of associates and contract attorneys through large-scale Second Request reviews
- Counsel clients on merger clearance strategy, antitrust risk and competition law issues
- Collaborate with partners and clients on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions
β Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of Antitrust experience in a law firm environment
- Significant experience handling antitrust merger investigations and merger clearance matters
- Strong experience with both the substantive and procedural aspects of Second Request compliance
- Ability to independently manage Second Request reviews and lead review teams
- Experience in the technology and/or life sciences sectors is preferred but not required
- Superior analytical, writing, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
