About the Opportunity:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an Antitrust Associate to join its Business Litigation practice in Washington, D.C. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys looking to work on sophisticated antitrust matters, including government investigations, merger reviews, litigation, and regulatory counseling for national and international clients.
The role offers exposure to DOJ and FTC investigations, merger clearance matters, class action litigation, antitrust counseling, and significant client interaction within a collaborative and growing practice.
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in federal and state antitrust investigations and litigation
• Assist with DOJ and FTC investigations and enforcement matters
• Advise clients on antitrust compliance and regulatory issues
• Support merger review and clearance processes, including HSR matters
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents
• Participate in depositions, oral arguments, and client counseling
• Collaborate with partners and clients on complex antitrust strategies
Qualifications:
✔ 2–4 years of antitrust experience in a law firm or government setting
✔ Experience with antitrust investigations, litigation, merger clearance, or counseling
✔ DOJ or FTC experience strongly preferred
✔ Experience with HSR filings, state attorneys general matters, depositions, or oral arguments is a plus
✔ Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
✔ Excellent academic credentials required
✔ Active membership in the Washington, D.C. Bar required

💰 Compensation: $235,000–$280,000 annually (based on experience, skills, and market factors), along with bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
