Summary
The selected Nurse will play a vital role in supporting clients on their journey to better health, providing skilled nursing care in a safe and welcoming environment. In this role you will help monitor client progress, manage medication administration, and ensure continuity of care that supports lasting recovery.
Job Duties
- Complete assigned nursing schedule visits in-person or via telehealth if approved by Management.
- Capture expected nursing service hours.
- Efficiently complete EHR documentation.
- Perform IM depot injections.
- Perform venipuncture.
- Obtain vital signs.
- Perform direct observation of urine specimen collection for substance use screening and monitoring.
- Conduct client skills groups as required.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Ensure Joint Commission compliance.
- Float to other facilities as requested.
- Attend and participate in continuing education, online training, and staff meetings.
- Educate clients by providing direction and guidance in a professional manner.
- Cultivate effective and respectful rapport with clients and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of client’s pertinent health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as requested within the RN licensure standards.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the State of Ohio.
- Must possess a valid CPR/BLS Certification or be willing to obtain certification during orientation.
- Must carry out detailed written and oral instructions, along with the ability to understand human behavior.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with emotionally charged individuals and issues.
- Must have the ability to work harmoniously with others.
- Must be able to make decisions at times with imperfect information.
- This position may require the use of a Company or personal vehicle. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and possess the ability to comply with company auto insurance policy.
