Position Summary
The Community Recovery Outreach Coordinator is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for connecting individuals affected by substance use and behavioral health challenges to Full Circle Recovery Services. This position focuses on active outreach, engagement, and removing barriers to treatment—ensuring clients receive seamless access to care.
Reporting to the District Manager and Program Managers specific to their locations, the coordinator will promote programs, build referral networks, and guide clients through intake, while meeting weekly billable engagement targets with incentives for exceeding goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Full Circle at community events, resource fairs, and outreach opportunities.
- Build and maintain referral partnerships (probation, courts, reentry programs, etc.).
- Distribute tailored marketing materials and gather community feedback.
- Engage potential clients with compassion and professionalism (in-person, hotline, and follow-ups).
- Assist with pre-screening, insurance verification, and intake coordination.
- Help clients overcome barriers (transportation, documentation, system navigation).
- Partner with the Outreach Enrollment Specialist to resolve issues quickly.
- Accurately track outreach efforts, referrals, and follow-ups in Sunwave (CRM).
- Ensure compliance with agency standards and cultural competence.
- Travel locally for outreach, with occasional overnight trips for training
- Meet weekly billable engagement minimums (bonus opportunities for exceeding targets).
- Work closely with program teams to support intake success
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- CDCA or Peer Support Certification (must submit prior to start unless otherwise approved)
- 1 year in outreach, behavioral health, addiction services, or peer support
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of addiction/recovery, intake processes, and local resources
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM/EHR systems (Sun wave preferred)
- Ability to lift 20 lbs, multitask, and work in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility for evenings/weekends and occasional overnight travel
