Automotive Service Support Center Representative employment opportunity with Frank Motors located in National City, California. 

Become part of a strong service team at one of San Diego’s largest and most respected group of dealerships, which includes Frank Toyota, Frank Subaru, and Frank Hyundai.  This is a great opportunity to work with an industry leader known for its friendly and welcoming environment, exceptional customer service, and large and loyal customer base.  Our Service Support Center personnel receive and make phone calls for our service departments.  The representatives are responsible for booking service appointments, reminding customers of their upcoming appointments, following up on missed appointments, and contacting customers who have not been in for some time. We are looking for customer service representatives who are enthusiastic, honest, hard-working, organized, have great phone skills, and are committed to great customer service.  We have different shifts available with at least two Saturdays per month required. Our Service Center Support Representatives salaries depend on experience and abilities. 

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Frank Motors, which includes Frank Toyota, Frank Subaru, and Frank Hyundai is a family owned and operated group of dealerships in National City, California.  Located less than 20 minutes from most areas of San Diego, Frank Motors has been in the automotive business since 1965.  Frank Motors is highly respected in the automotive industry and the ownership is involved in improving the industry both on a local and statewide level. Frank dealerships have won the JD Powers Excellence award recently and have received the highest accolades from the manufacturers. Frank Motors believes in helping the local communities and is involved in many charitable organizations, including Big Brother, Big Sister, Humble, and the Rady’s Children’s Hospital. With three great carlines, a large, loyal customer base, and great employees, Frank Motors continues to outpace the local competition.  Frank Motors has a Service Development Center (SDC) dedicated to setting and reminding customers of their service appointments.  They receive incoming service calls, make outgoing calls for recalls, postponed services, and missed appointments, as well as contacting customers who have not been in in some time.  We have extremely knowledgeable service advisors/consultants and technicians, many of whom are master level technicians, who are highly productive and use to working in a fast-paced, customer friendly environment.  We have ongoing training for our SDC personnel, technicians, and service advisor/consultant. Our service and parts areas run very smoothly in large part due to our solid processes and trained, skilled staff, many of whom have been with the company for twenty years or more.       

Some of What You’ll do:

  • Answer incoming phone calls for the service department
  • Set/Modify customer service appointments in the dealership computer management system
  • Make outgoing calls to remind customers of their upcoming service appointment
  • Make outgoing calls to customers who may be overdue for service
  • Make outgoing calls to set recall appointments
  • Make outgoing calls to follow-up with customers who were recently in for service
  • Update Customer Information in DMS
  • Review customer service history, maintenance requirements, and check for open recalls
  • Instill confidence in the customer by learning scripts and SDC processes
  • Continue to develop your skills through training and experience

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Proficient Computer Skills
  • Professional work ethic and high integrity
  • Ability to work as a team and/or independently
  • Strong problem solving and follow up skills
  • At least two Saturdays per month required
