Sr. Manager, Packaging Development and Sourcing

A growing beauty and fragrance brand is seeking a Senior Manager, Packaging Development & Sourcing to lead packaging engineering and development for new product launches. This role will focus heavily on glass packaging and requires strong technical expertise in packaging engineering within fragrance, beauty, or related CPG categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead packaging development and sourcing strategies for new product launches
• Partner with global vendors to define specifications, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Ensure packaging meets brand, cost, quality, and timeline objectives
• Drive innovation through new packaging concepts and materials
• Manage packaging feasibility, costing, and supply chain planning
• Oversee and mentor one direct report

Qualifications:

• 5 years of packaging engineering or development experience within fragrance, beauty, or CPG
• Strong experience with glass packaging and component manufacturing
• Knowledge of packaging materials, injection molding, glass forming, and dispensing systems
• Prior team management experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field preferred
