Our rapidly growing wholesale homeware client, is seeking a dynamic product development manager to join their team with experience in the home space.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product requirements are met, including design specifications, material reviews, packaging, and costing.
- Serve as a liaison between sales and suppliers, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Partner with sales, design, & production to bring innovative, market-ready products to life
- Maintain profitability by reviewing sales, analyzing costs, calculating freight, and providing feedback
- Conduct market comp shopping to monitor price points, key items, and emerging trends
- Provide sales team with the tools and support to effectively sell products to retail channels
- Travel as needed to meet with suppliers, attend trade shows, and support product launches
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a product development, sourcing or relevant industry role
- Working knowledge of the 360 product development lifecycle
- Must have basic MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Must be a team player with a positive outlook
- Must be organized
- Must be a self starter
- Most importantly, must love product and want to "own" your categories and see them through to successful execution in stores across the world
