Our client, a wholesale fashion accessories company, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Jr. Designer and Merchandiser to support their Product & Design team in NYC!
Responsibilities
- Produce CADs and artwork for socks, hosiery, and related products
- Assist in conceptualizing and designing efficient, visually compelling packaging
- Create professional sales tools, including sell sheets and web-ready files
- Maintain and organize product artwork files and documentation
- Support vendors during sampling and production to meet product development timelines
- Conduct trend research and competitive shopping to inform designs
- Assist in preparing presentations, trend boards, and sales materials
- Collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to ensure artwork aligns with customer expectations
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of product design experience, preferably in fashion, hosiery, or accessories
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
