Our client, an apparel and accessories wholesale company, is seeking a Socks & Accessories Designer to join their team in NYC!
This role requires 4 days onsite in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize & design seasonal collections for hosiery & socks
- Design artwork, create CAD's, and develop tech packs
- Conduct trend and market research
- Select yarn and construction techniques
- Work with production on approvals
- Assist across the design process from concept through final product
- Communicate with overseas vendors
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience designing hosiery, socks, or knitwear
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools
- Knowledge of knitting processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Experience working with licensed brands and international factories is a plus
- Mass or off-price retailer experience is a plus
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
