Our client is a high-growth, premium manufacturer of sauces, marinades, seasonings, and pork rinds. Their products are sold in over 20,000 locations nationwide, including Kroger, Walmart, Albertsons, Safeway, Ahold Delhaize, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Publix, Meijer, and many more.
Overview: The Vice President of Sales will lead the sales team and implement our clients' sales strategy across all channels, including retail, grocery, club, and food service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales team in the successful attainment of the company's revenue and profit sales objectives
- Lead and grow a high-performing sales team, including retail, broker, and distributor management
- Execute sales and promotional plans, ensuring execution, review and tracking of all plans and programs
- Account P&L responsibility with an equal focus on top & bottom lines
- Train and develop Rib Rack sales and account management team
Qualifications:
- 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in CPG, preferably food and beverage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Hands-on knowledge of sales planning, implementation, and experience elevating a company’s capabilities through joint business planning
- Excellent strategic and tactical skills with a proven ability to clearly interpret external forces, trends, and opportunities
- Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen; comfortable with trade spend and margin analysis
- Aggressive, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Desire to contribute to a dynamic, high-growth, purpose-driven work environment
Salary : $175,000 - $195,000
