We are partnering with a global packaging manufacturer to hire a New Business Development Manager focused on driving growth across the Northeast, with a strong concentration in the New York beauty and cosmetics market.
This is a true hunter role. This is ideal for someone who can build pipeline from scratch, leverage existing relationships, and convert opportunities into new business.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive net-new business development across beauty & cosmetics brands in the Northeast
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
• Build and execute territory strategy to generate pipeline and revenue
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers across major beauty organizations
• Manage a small set of existing accounts while prioritizing new business growth
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and international stakeholders
Required Experience
• Proven track record of closing net-new business (not account management)
• Experience in beauty, cosmetics, or primary packaging (glass strongly preferred)
• Established network within beauty brands (e.g., Estée Lauder, L’Oréal, Coty, etc.)
• Experience selling into mid-to-large scale accounts
• Ability to operate in a field-based, relationship-driven sales environment
Additional Requirements
• Willingness to be onsite in Queens during onboarding and 3 days/week thereafter
• Ability to travel across the Northeast for client meetings
• Access to reliable transportation (car required for regional travel)
