About the Role
We’re seeking a Retention Manager focused on converting first-time buyers into loyal, repeat customers. This role owns the end-to-end retention ecosystem—including email, SMS, and subscription strategy—and is key to driving sustainable, profitable growth through data-driven, customer-centric marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute retention strategy across email, SMS, and subscription lifecycle
- Build, launch, and optimize targeted campaigns aligned with brand voice and performance goals
- Support subscription growth by reducing churn and improving customer experience
- Manage lifecycle marketing in Klaviyo, including segmentation, QA, deployment, and analysis
- Support loyalty retention efforts
- Partner cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Creative, and Brand teams to ensure cohesive execution
- Develop and refine customer journeys (post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, subscription touchpoints)
- Continuously test messaging, offers, timing, and creative to improve repeat purchase and LTV
- Analyze customer behavior and retention metrics to identify insights and opportunities
Qualifications
- 5 years in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing within high-growth DTC brands
- Hands-on experience managing a subscription ecommerce program and loyalty program
- Strong proficiency in Klaviyo (email SMS)
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing performance metrics (LTV, repeat rate, churn)
- Deep understanding of ecommerce customer journeys, especially post-purchase and replenishment
- Experience with testing frameworks and campaign optimization
- Creative, experimental thinker who challenges conventional approaches
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
