What You’ll Do
- Track and trace incoming ocean freight from origin to final delivery
- Enter and maintain shipment data, upload documents, and process pre-alerts
- Prepare and review import documentation for customs clearance
- Coordinate dispatch with truckers and schedule deliveries
- Communicate shipment updates to customers, internal teams, and international partners
- Process billing, payables, and other administrative tasks
- Provide timely, professional customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle
- Support internal quality and compliance processes
- Perform additional duties as needed
- 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or ocean import operations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Comfortable handling multiple shipments and shifting priorities
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
