Accounts Payable Supervisor

Fit Recruiting is partnering with a well-established company in Mobile, Alabama, to hire an Accounts Payable Supervisor for its corporate accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on accounting, AP oversight, reconciliations, and month-end responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting knowledge, ERP experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Salary is in the $50K-$60K range, depending on experience, with company perks, growth, and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support payables team
• Process vendor invoices and manage weekly check runs
• Prepare bank reconciliations and research discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and GL reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records
• Assist with business licenses, property tax filings, and financial reporting
• Support additional accounting and operational projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of accounting and accounts payable experience
• Experience working within an ERP/accounting system environment
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• An accounting degree is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
