Responsibilities
- Works with large volume and high activity vendors on a daily basis.
- Matches invoices to related Purchase Orders in ERP system to process for payment.
- Checks invoices for price discrepancies and quality errors.
- Notifies Purchasing and/or ordering department of discrepancies noted.
- Researches and responds to inquiries about invoices from vendors and departments.
- Verifies that vendor information is correct before processing invoices.
- Verifies that all required approvals are in place before an item is processed for payment.
- Reviews open voucher report and determines any issues that need to be resolved and completes as needed.
- Reviews status reports for paid and/or unpaid items and follows-up on uncompleted items on a timely basis.
- Maintains vendor folders in AP group email.
- Reviews vendor statements and resolves open invoices, unapplied credits, and other discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicates with appropriate customer relations via email and/or telephone.
- Requires minimal supervision to safely perform essential functions.
- Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
- Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
- Related duties as assigned
Additional Information
Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years bookkeeping or clerical accounting experience, one year of which was in accounts payable. Required
- Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
