Location: Apex, NC (Hybrid - 2-3 days/week in office)
We're seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to support a rapidly growing business unit serving high-demand end markets including pharmaceutical manufacturing, data centers, and life sciences. Key Responsibilities (in order of importance)
· Manage project and job cost accounting, including WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion calculations, and contract margin analysis
· Partner with operations and project management teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, change order accounting, and revenue recognition across active projects
· Develop and maintain job-level financial reporting to support project profitability reviews and operational decision-making
· Act as the primary finance point of contact for BU leadership, providing actionable insights on cost drivers, revenue trends, and project financial performance, and other business support functions as required
· Own BU-level financial reporting including monthly close, P&L management, and variance analysis against budget and prior periods
· Implement and enforce accounting policies and internal controls consistent with corporate standards and PE sponsor expectations
· Act as the primary finance point of contact for BU leadership, providing actionable insights on cost drivers, revenue trends, and project financial performance
· Support ERP utilization and optimization (NetSuite) at the BU level; ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy

Ideal Profile
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA a plus
· 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
· Project-based or construction financial management experience strongly preferred — familiarity with WIP, job costing, and contract revenue recognition
· Attention to detail; execution focused, exhibits a sense of urgency, and an ability to anticipate and avoid likely challenges
· Background in industrial services, specialty contracting, facilities services, or adjacent industries preferred
Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
