What are the responsibilities and job description for the Division Controller position at firstPRO, Inc?
We are working with a manufacturing company that is looking for a Divisional Controller to manage all accounting and finance for a $70MM business.
This role will be responsible for month end close, financial reporting, consolidations, accounting operations, ad-hoc analysis and reporting, SOX compliance, revenue recognition, oversight of staff, working closely with senior leadership and much more.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month end close and accounting operations for the organization.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including commentary and related analysis.
- Prepare financial reports for senior leadership.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, strategic analysis, and more.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and insight for any accounting issues.
- Be involved in continuous evaluation and improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
- Maintain overall compliance with SOX standards.
- Primary contact for external auditors.
- Ad-hoc projects.
Experience Requirements
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 8 years of overall accounting experience; manufacturing experience required
- Experience working for companies that are SOX compliant
- CPA strongly preferred
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
