firstPRO is partnering with a leading enterprise organization to identify a Dynamics Functional Lead to join a high-impact Technology team. This individual will play a key role in driving ERP optimization and digital transformation initiatives across the business.
This role is ideal for a seasoned ERP professional with strong experience supporting and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a complex enterprise environment. The Dynamics Functional Lead will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align systems, processes, and business objectives, leveraging data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and scalability. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires an onsite presence in Cinnaminson, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Dynamics 365 and other core enterprise applications operate effectively and remain aligned with evolving business requirements.
- Develop and maintain a 1–3 year ERP and enterprise applications roadmap to support long-term business strategy.
- Lead system consolidation initiatives and drive adoption of standardized platforms across the organization.
- Serve as Tier 3 escalation support for ERP-related issues and lead resolution efforts.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and third parties to troubleshoot and resolve system challenges.
- Document business processes, system configurations, and application workflows to support scalability and continuity.
- Analyze root causes of system issues and implement sustainable, long-term solutions.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to ERP team members to build internal capability.
- Support enterprise project planning and execution related to ERP and application initiatives.
- Contribute to strategic IT discussions and help shape overall technology direction.
- Identify opportunities to better leverage ERP and enterprise tools to maximize ROI.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and governance best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and system governance processes.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders by translating complex technical concepts into clear business language.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience supporting cloud-based enterprise applications in a mid-to-large scale environment.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft-based ERP systems, including Dynamics 365.
- Prior experience in a team lead, functional lead, or IT leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of ERP architecture, enterprise application ecosystems, and system integrations.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies including Dynamics 365, Office 365, Azure, Azure SQL, and Azure Automation.
- Familiarity with Power Platform tools such as Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
- Understanding of Azure Active Directory, EDI, and enterprise integrations.
- Proven strengths in project management, problem solving, and root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize workflows and drive process improvements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support and engage internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
