firstPRO is partnering with a leading enterprise organization to identify a Dynamics Functional Lead to join a high-impact Technology team. This individual will play a critical role in driving ERP optimization and digital transformation initiatives across the business.
This role is ideal for a seasoned ERP-focused professional with deep experience supporting and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a complex, enterprise environment. The position requires strong business acumen, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
Position Overview
This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional business leaders to understand operational needs and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and performance. This individual will leverage Dynamics 365 and related technologies to align systems, processes, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Dynamics 365 and other core enterprise applications are operating effectively and aligned with business requirements
- Develop and maintain a 1–3 year ERP and applications strategy roadmap
- Support system consolidation efforts and drive adoption of standardized platforms
- Serve as Tier 3 escalation support for ERP-related issues and lead resolution efforts
- Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and third parties to troubleshoot and resolve system challenges
- Document business processes, systems, and application workflows to support scalability and operational continuity
- Analyze root causes of system issues and implement sustainable solutions
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to ERP team members to build long-term capability
- Support enterprise project planning and execution related to ERP and application initiatives
- Contribute to strategic IT discussions and help shape technology direction
- Identify opportunities to better leverage ERP and enterprise tools to maximize ROI
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and system governance processes
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear business language
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
- 3–5 years supporting cloud-based enterprise applications in a mid-to-large scale environment
- 3–5 years working with Microsoft-based ERP systems, including Dynamics 365
- Prior experience in an IT leadership or team lead capacity
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT disciplines including:
- ERP architecture and application ecosystems
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- EDI and enterprise integrations
- Office 365 and Azure environments
- Azure SQL, Azure Automation
- Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate)
- Azure Active Directory
- Proven strengths in:
- Project management and execution
- Problem solving and root cause analysis
- Workflow optimization and process improvement
- Stakeholder communication and internal customer support
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
