Senior Accountant

We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our expanding finance/accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about scaling accounting operations in a growing organization. You will play a key role in driving timely and accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting audit readiness, with a primary focus on month-end close and technical accounting execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform timely month-end and year-end financial close process, including but not limited to recording accruals, performing account reconciliations, and overall maintenance of general ledger.
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings including sales tax, business licenses and other filings as requested.
• Collaborate with CPA to prepare annual tax returns and other departments such as Accounts Payable and Receivable to accomplish key financial functions.
• Support accounting management with information requests from both internal and external parties.
• Work with the various accounting departments to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits.
• Execute internal controls to ensure checks and balances.
• Produce timely and accurate reporting as requested to improve data-based decision making.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.

Job Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting and/or a high-growth environment.
• CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Experience supporting month-end close and general ledger accounting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting concepts.
• Experience with accounting systems, NetSuite and Ramp preferred.

Schedule/Locations:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST
• Remote: Eligible to candidates residing in PST time zone
