Our client is seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper in Columbia, SC to provide outsourced accounting support on a part-time basis. This is a PART TIME (15-20 hours per week), temporary to hire position
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee monthly and year-end financial statements
- Manage accounting processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
- Reconcile P-Card (procurement card) statements
- Coordinate and collaborate with our external auditors for the annual audit
- Make weekly onsite visits to:
- Prepare and make bank deposits
- Transfer funds
- Write and process checks
- Support the organization in maintaining sound accounting procedures and internal controls
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong MS Office Skills
- Experience in accounting and financial reporting
- Prior experience supporting audits and working directly with external auditors
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Hours:
- PART TIME - 15-20 hours per week
- Flexible hours
- Work will be completed Monday - Friday
Compensation & Additional Information:
- $23 - $25 hourly
- 100% onsite
