We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting function and support the continued growth of a well-established, privately held organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and managing the month-end and year-end close processes.
The Accounting Manager will lead a team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and reporting, while partnering closely with leadership to provide timely and actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and inventory-related accounting
- Perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, ensuring adherence to internal policies and accounting standards
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and internal management reports
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhanced internal controls
- Partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
