Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to support the daily functions of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement programs. This role plays a key part in creating a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with HR policies and company standards.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate with our diverse workforce.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientations to ensure a smooth transition into the organization
• Assist in the administration of the offboarding processes, including preparing paperwork for exit interviews and employee final offboarding documentation
• Support and track employee training and development programs, including compliance and safety training (in HRIS system)
• Oversee employee engagement initiatives, such as the Employee Rewards Program and Anniversary Recognition Program
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, personnel files, and training documentation
• Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws
• Collaborate with managers and supervisors to identify staffing needs and training opportunities
• Partner with HR leadership to promote a positive company culture and continuous improvement in employee relations
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with employees and management
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

✅ Experience: 2-4 years of human resources experience, preferably in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations

✅ Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English (Required)

✅ Knowledge: Familiarity with HR laws, compliance standards, and best practices

✅ Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple programs, track progress, and maintain accurate documentation

✅ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for employee engagement and HR correspondence

✅ Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and HRIS systems

✅ Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality while supporting employees and management

✅ Program Management: Experience managing employee recognition and reward programs is a plus
