Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations by ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This role is responsible for processing payroll data, maintaining employee records, and assisting with payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience handling confidential financial information.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred to effectively communicate with employees across departments.

What You’ll Do

• Process employee payroll information, including hours worked, overtime, and deductions
• Manage timekeeping system processes and payroll reporting using Dayforce (our all-in-one HRIS platform)
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee compensation data

• Assist in preparing and processing weekly or bi-weekly payroll

• Review payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and labor regulations

• Address employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain confidential employee records and payroll documentation

• Coordinate with HR and accounting teams to ensure payroll accuracy
• Prepare payroll reports and documentation for internal use and audits
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

✅ Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred

✅ Experience: 1-2 years of payroll, accounting, or administrative experience (Preferred)

✅ Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English (Preferred)

✅ Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accuracy with payroll data and records

✅ Technical Skills: Experience with payroll systems, timekeeping software, and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)

✅ Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive employee and payroll information with discretion

✅ Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet payroll deadlines

✅ Basic Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, and wage calculations
