Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new hires on food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Familiarize team members with Aloha POS and Micros POS systems to ensure efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to staff, promoting best practices in customer service and upselling techniques.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills in food handling, sanitation, and time management.
- Assist in the development of training materials that reflect current industry standards and practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures throughout the restaurant.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and implement effective solutions.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurant settings.
- Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong sales acumen with experience in upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
- Previous experience in cashiering or bussing is a plus.
