Admissions Concierge Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, walk-ins, and admission inquiries
- Greet residents, families, and visitors and provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate with hospitals, case managers, and referral sources regarding potential admissions
- Assist with intake documentation and ensure required paperwork is completed accurately and timely
- Support insurance verification and communicate admission requirements
- Schedule tours and assist with family meetings and admission appointments
- Maintain communication with nursing, social services, and administrative teams regarding incoming residents
- Track referral activity and maintain organized records
- Promote a positive, professional image of the facility at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
- Experience in healthcare admissions, customer service, or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems preferred
- Professional demeanor with strong organizational skills
- Full-time position
- May include occasional evenings or weekends based on facility needs
