As an RN Supervisor, you will:
- Conduct resident assessments and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor, document, and manage resident health status, medications, and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacy, interdisciplinary teams, and families
- Provide education and emotional support to residents and their families
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and facility policies
- Lead and support nursing staff during evening or night shifts
- Serve as the senior nurse on duty and respond to emergent situations
- Oversee census documentation and assist with staff education
- Act as a clinical leader and professional role model
- Report directly to the Director of Nursing
Pay: $45.00
Shift Differentials: Competitive shift differentials offered
Available Shifts:
- Evening (3:00pm – 11:00pm)
- Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Part-Time (22.5 hours per week)
- Weekend availability required
- $4,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time RNs
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 1–2 years of long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and regulatory standards (CMS and NYS Department of Health)
- Proven leadership ability with strong staff management and delegation skills
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication, documentation, and computer/EMR skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Availability to work rotating weekends, holidays, and assigned shifts (evenings/nights as needed)
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure in a fast-paced environment
