In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities

• Start Time: 9 AM
• No guaranteed end time — shift ends when work is completed
• Weekends & Holidays Required
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replacing linens and amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobby, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Handle cleaning tasks using equipment such as vacuums and cleaning carts efficiently and safely.
• Properly handle chemical agents in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines to ensure safe use during cleaning procedures.
• Perform heavy lifting when moving furniture or supplies and manual handling tasks with care to prevent injury.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the proper handling of chemical agents is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as vacuuming, heavy lifting, and manual handling comfortably throughout shifts.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
• Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure safe work practices.
• Previous experience in hospitality or custodial roles demonstrates reliability and attention to detail.
