Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, and other shared spaces through regular janitorial practices
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality and appearance
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed diligently to promote health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens to ensure availability for residents or guests
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing requests promptly and courteously while maintaining a friendly demeanor
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and techniques including carpet cleaners and floor buffers
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in maintaining hygienic environments
- Experience with laundry operations and stain removal techniques
- Background in custodial or janitorial roles demonstrating attention to detail and reliability
- Housekeeping management experience is a plus for supervisory roles but not required
- Previous work in hospitality settings such as hotels or resorts will be advantageous
