Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas of the facility.
- Maintain floors through effective floor care techniques, ensuring they are clean and presentable at all times.
- Clean and restock guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with established standards.
- Handle laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the housekeeping management team.
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing friendly service to guests and responding to their needs promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in industrial cleaning and custodial services.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required.
