The Fairfield Inn & Suites is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring smooth overnight hotel operations by providing exceptional guest service while accurately completing the daily audit and financial reconciliation process.

Position Summary

As Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing overnight hotel operations, balancing daily revenue and transactions, assisting guests, and ensuring the safety and security of our guests and associates. This position combines front desk responsibilities with accounting and reporting functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service during overnight hours.
• Complete the nightly audit process and ensure all revenue and financial transactions are balanced accurately.
• Reconcile daily front desk transactions and cashier reports.
• Prepare daily reports for management, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales departments.
• Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
• Answer telephone calls, process reservations, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor hotel safety and security throughout the overnight shift.
• Assist with VIP arrivals and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Promote hotel services and amenities through upselling opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and Marriott brand standards.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and guest needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred

• Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience.
• Prior Night Audit experience.
• Experience with Marriott systems and property management software.
• Cash handling and accounting experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Schedule

• Full-Time or Part-Time Available
• Overnight Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekends and Holidays Required
