Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of hotel spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently across all areas
• Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens for residents
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, outdoor work, and furniture moving with proper techniques to ensure safety
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, floors, windows, and outdoor areas while adhering to health and safety regulations
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
• Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, surface sanitation, and outdoor maintenance
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and safe handling practices for chemicals
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work responsibilities
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs and preferences
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday
• Experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and handle physical demands of the job
