Powder coating Quality Inspector

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team on the robotic paint line. This role is responsible for inspecting coated parts, ensuring they meet customer specifications, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect painted/coated parts for defects such as scratches, uneven coating, or imperfections
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards
• Record and maintain accurate inspection logs and documentation
• Identify nonconforming products and communicate issues to the production team
• Assist in resolving quality issues and improving processes
• Package finished parts as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support other areas of the shop during downtime as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), or inspection roles
• Background in manufacturing, coatings, or production environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to accurately document and report inspection results
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with safety and compliance standards
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational or technical training in quality or related field is a plus
