We are seeking a skilled BAS (Building Automation Systems) Technician to support commercial and industrial HVAC control systems across the Chippewa Falls, WI region. This role is responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining advanced building automation systems that optimize performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort.
This is a hands-on, field-based position working with modern BAS platforms and integrated building systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission BAS/DDC systems
- Troubleshoot system faults, alarms, and communication issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and system diagnostics
- Work with HVAC systems including AHUs, VAVs, and chillers
- Collaborate with engineering and facility teams to optimize performance
- Document service activity and system updates
- Provide support and training to end users
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of experience with BAS, BMS, or DDC systems
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls and system integration
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience with communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with one or more BAS platforms:
- Tridium Niagara
- Johnson Controls (Metasys)
- Siemens (Desigo)
- Alerton, Distech, Automated Logic, Honeywell
- Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley a plus)
- Familiarity with energy management systems
