Powder Coating Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Powder Coating Parts Technician to join our team. This position involves preparing, coating, and finishing metal and other materials using the powder coating process. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes. 1 shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, pays $20-$24hr. Company does not offer benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare parts for powder coating, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and hanging them on racks.
• Operate powder coating spray guns to apply even and consistent coatings.
• Monitor the curing process in industrial ovens to ensure proper adhesion and durability.
• Inspect coated parts for defects, ensuring a smooth and high-quality finish.
• Touch up or rework parts as needed to meet quality standards.
• Maintain and clean spray guns, booths, and other powder coating equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of powder coating materials.
• Keep an organized work area and ensure proper labeling and storage of finished parts.
• Work with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain efficiency.
