Extension is seeking a Process Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI!
About the Position
This Senior Process Engineer role is a hands-on leadership position focused on assembly and finishing operations. The role drives advanced process improvements in safety, quality, and cost while also mentoring junior engineers and supporting plant-wide continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement complex process improvements in safety, quality, and cost
- Serve as a technical expert in Lean manufacturing methodologies
- Troubleshoot high-impact production issues and lead structured root cause analysis efforts
- Conduct and review time studies, capability studies, and process validation activities
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff
- Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to optimize operations
- Lead or support equipment selection, tooling design, and process development for new and existing systems
- Drive Kaizen events and broader continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 6 years of experience in manufacturing
- Strong hands-on experience with production systems and process optimization
- Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, and root cause analysis
- Experience with Creo and/or AutoCAD
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm
- $110,000 – $120,000 base salary
- Onsite in Ripon, WI
