Extension is seeking a for a 1st shift Production Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI!Key Objectives / Role ResponsibilitiesOversee press operations, ensuring safe, efficient use of all stamping equipment across multiple press zonesSupport and help lead SMED initiatives; optimize die changeovers, setups, and transfer processesTroubleshoot tooling, quality, and mechanical issues using strong press and metal stamping knowledgeEnforce safety protocols, oversee daily safety talks, and maintain PPE compliance in a high-risk departmentMonitor KPIs (changeover times, scrap, uptime, quality) and drive continuous improvement initiativesFlex across all shifts when required due to downtime, major changeovers, or high-priority issuesDesired Skills & QualificationsStrong background in metal stamping, tool & die concepts, and press operationsSMED experience preferred, but candidates with deep metal stamping backgrounds will be considered3 years of leadership experience in manufacturing; must be confident leading technical teamsExcellent attention to detail; ability to read specs, tolerances, and production requirementsERP familiarity (SAP, JDE, AS400, Kronos) helpful but not requiredSalary & Schedule InformationOnsite in RiponMonday-Thursday, 1st shift 5am-3pmFriday's as neededFlexibility to work all shifts as needed$70,000 - $88,000 plus bonusWe’re looking forward to connecting with you and are excited to help you make your next career move!
