Overview of Opportunity
Growing food manufacturing company seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily production floor operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and team performance while ensuring production schedules are met efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations and ensure schedules are completed on time
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and safety standards
- Monitor production performance, downtime, and workflow efficiency
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including lean and 5S
- Manage employee attendance, scheduling, and performance accountability
- Conduct floor checks and support basic equipment troubleshooting
Qualifications
- 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with automated or semi-automated production lines
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or GED required
Schedule and Salary
- On-site in Ripon
- Salary: $70,000–$85,000 annually
- 1st shift
