Overview

As the facility's primary safety leader, you'll oversee EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive initiatives that promote a strong culture of safety across the organization. This is a highly visible, hands-on role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain facility safety programs, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Manage Hazard Communication, SDS administration, and hazardous waste compliance
- Coordinate safety training, emergency preparedness activities, and safety committee meetings
- Partner with leadership to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards
- Experience managing safety programs, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments
- Experience with Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and incident investigations preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, EHS, or a related field and/or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Chemical manufacturing and EPA compliance experience a plus
Salary & Schedule
- $70,000 - $95,000
- Direct hire
- Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
