As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the Process Team supporting various analytical projects. Job Title: Calibration and Instrumentation Technician (Travelling)

- Total Daily Per Diem: $178 to include $110 accommodations, $68 for food and incidentals
- Perform Hands-on Instrument and Controls Troubleshooting / Repairs / Preventive and Corrective Maintenance to all Plant Equipment / Systems, Process Measurement and Control, Utility, Laboratory, and Bench-top Instrumentation
- Strong application and working knowledge of FDA; GMP; GLP; compliance and NIST traceability. Expert knowledge of test equipment and capabilities such as tolerance requirements and 4:1 TAR.
- Perform hands-on calibrations and electronic maintenance of pressure, temperature, flow, CO2, weight, pH, DO, and other critical process parameter measuring devices on a wide variety of process and utility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and pneumatic control circuits
- Perform loop checks for new instrumentation
- Previous experience performing calibrations, PMs for Bioreactors
- Previous experience with water systems, boilers and chillers
- Familiar with CMMS Software (Infor, Blue Mountain, Maximum, ect)
- Expert level knowledge and capability with incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators and freezers, stability chambers, chromatography (HPLC or GC), spectrophotometers, other general laboratory equipment as needed per clients.
- Dependent upon client needs, may require an expert level knowledge and working capability with RT-PCR, bio analyzers, gel imagers, scintillation counters, and cytometers; Histology Equipment, such as microtomes, slide strainers, tissue processors, harvesters, homogenizers, and microscopes; and/or Liquid Automation / Robotics / HTS, such as liquid handlers, plate stackers, plate readers, and plate washers.
- A four-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, other related technical field or equivalent military training and four plus years of applicable (Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration) experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Quality System/Pharmaceutical experience is required.
- Expert knowledge and application of instrument, equipment, and loop calibrations of various parameters in manufacturing, utilities, and laboratory environments.
- Exceptional Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) skills.
- Strong applied and working knowledge of FDA; GMP; GLP; compliance and NIST traceability. Expert knowledge of test equipment and capabilities such as tolerance requirements and 4:1 TAR.
