- Contribute to the technology planning, development, and deployment of a new third-party Trade Surveillance platform across US and EMEA regions.
- Analyze and resolve complex, multi-faceted software engineering challenges with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with global teams, including vendor engineering groups, to ensure seamless integration and modernization of surveillance systems.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions within an Agile delivery framework.
- Participate in vendor management activities and ensure adherence to company standards related to risk management and information security.
- 10 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in enterprise-scale application development.
- Expertise in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs, system integrations, and working within complex financial systems.
- Knowledge of capital markets, compliance, and trade lifecycle concepts, along with familiarity with international regulations like MAD/MAR.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and secure software development lifecycle practices.
