As a Procurement Manager, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives. What's the Job?
- Lead supplier negotiations and contracting activities while developing and executing cost-savings strategies and initiatives.
- Manage the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, including planning and executing competitive bidding events (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
- Evaluate supplier proposals, facilitate supplier selection, and oversee supplier communications throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
- Prepare, analyze, negotiate, and execute supplier contracts with a focus on terms and conditions relevant to healthcare and health insurance operations.
- Develop and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and contractual obligations with suppliers.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management experience.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex supplier contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Experience leading competitive sourcing events, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes.
- Experience within the health insurance, healthcare, or related health services industry.
