Work Schedule: Hybrid 3 days in office/2 days remote

Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong software engineering background with experience developing enterprise-scale applications
Expertise in object-oriented and/or functional programming (e.g., Java, Python, Scala)
Experience designing and consuming APIs and system integrations
Broad experience in technology delivery within complex financial systemsKnowledge of capital markets, Banking, Compliance, and Trade Lifecycle concepts
Familiarity with international regulations such as MAD/MAR and regulatory-driven systems
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience working within secure, controlled enterprise environments
Key Requirements:

Prior Trade Surveillance system development experience
Strong Python or Scala development skills
Experience building or enhancing regulatory-driven applications
System integration and enhancement work within vendor-based platforms
Must have: Scala, Spark, MongoDB, Advanced SQL skills
Financial industry background is highly preferred.
